Stone carving

At the moment we are doing stone carving, the stone we are using is called Oamaru limestone and we have four projects.

Project one:   koru.    My koru's are quite different to everyone elses mine are way way smaller and has designs on the stalky part of the koru's. and I also have two.

Using The Sewing Machine Properly 

First we used the sewing machine with test fabric for the first time.

And we learnt how to get all of the cotton in the right place to use the machine.

I liked it because we used cotton instead of paper.

I have learnt how to use a sewing machine. 

First we started on paper with a designed pattern on it.

Zion's HHS Chromebook Rules!

 Look at This if You Want To Be Smart With Your Chromebook

                          Zion's HHS Chromebook Rules!                            

WALT: Follow the rules about Chromebooks at HHS.

First Austin, my friend I worked together with me. with this Google Drawing below. Then we did the title and added in those cool emoji's on the word 'look'. Soon after we added in the HHS Chromebook Rules title and wrote in all of the rules. Then at the end we put "AND REMEMBER TO FOLLOW THE RULES!!!"😝
WARNING If you don't follow the rules then your Chromebook will not be safe when you aren't near your Chromebook, especially if you are at school.

During this process I have learnt about how you cannot use a different account in class even at playtime, and here's another one... You are not allowed to use inappropriate language while sending an email. 

There were some challenges but not many making this poster along the way. The only one was when I aligned my colourful borders. 

I like this work because it is interesting to look at, it's helpful, colourful and I have put a lot of hard work into it.
